We’re currently looking for a Intern Product Assurance to join our team!


Our planet’s survival depends on a sustainable energy future. Ampyx Power is developing an Airborne Wind Energy System (AWES) that can access powerful wind at high altitude using tethered unmanned aircraft.

What are you going to do?
We work in teams to meet our milestones. These are examples of the teams that we have: the Flight Algorithms Team, the Electronics Team, the Aircraft Design Team, the Software Team, the Flight Operations Team, etc. This vacancy is within our Systems Engineering & PA team of 5 people. You will work closely with Stefan to develop the Quality Management System for Ampyx Power.
As a member of the Systems Engineering & PA team, you will be working on:

  • Establishing together with the teams a Quality Management System as guidance for the engineering and development work,  following the principle “write down what we do, then do as written”. 
  • Supporting and guiding the teams with the proper implementation of processes.
  • Perform certain Quality Assurance tasks depending on you skills and preferences.
  • Shaping our powerful engineering Project Data Management tool to Ampyx Power's needs.

Requirements

What do we need from you to complement the team?

You are studying for an Engineering degree in a field that Ampyx Power is active in, and you are looking for an internship during your Masters' program. 
Ideally you:

  • Are a team player; 
  • Are proactive and you take ownership;
  • Like to learn new skills;
  • Adhere to processes and help improving them;
  • Report in a precise and concise manner;
  • Have affinity for systematic working, achieving quality or pursuing safety;
  • Are proficient in English (speaking and writing). Half of our employees are non-Dutch and our common working language is English;
  •    Are good at writing technical documentation. You report in a precise and concise manner. 

We’d very much welcome the following experiences:

  • You are in your third or final year of your Bachelor program or in your Master program in one of the engineering disciplines;
  • You have certain experience with software (C++ or similar);
  • You work efficiently in a team and support your colleagues, you are able to proactively pick tasks and take ownership; 
  • You enjoy interaction with a diverse engineering team and you can guide the communication.
